Boon Teck is a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in technology startups since his Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Computer Engineering days. He currently runs Kidotech, an enterprise service provider that focuses on CRM and After Market Services market. Kidotech has implemented web and mobile applications for major manufacturers such as Research In Motion, Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Sony PlayStation regionally. Prior to Kidotech, Boon Teck was co-founder of a mobile content provider startup to Indonesia’s largest telco, Telkomsel. Boon Teck was an integral part of Team Blue when he joined IBM Singapore as an IT consultant back in 2001. Boon Teck believes that a coworking space should facilitate and provide opportunities for collaboration. It is fundamentally the members that drive and define the community.
Kevin Lim. An alumnus of the prestigious Architectural Association in London and having honed his spatial sensibilities working for some of the world’s top architectural offices, Kevin now runs his own design studio, Studio SKLIM. Pushing the boundaries of creative spaces and formulating innovative solutions are some of the key qualities he brings to Makespace. Having lived in 4 cities and experiencing a wide range of cultural situations have made him sensitive to the needs of the global working nomad. He feels that design should remain accessible and in the case of Makespace, should evolve with the needs of the users.
